Their story…
Life has given Andrew and Linda a second chance at sharing life with their best friend, soul mate and true love. They have blended a family together and though their children couldn’t be more different little Weston looks up to his twin big sisters now. And the girls are pretty smitten with Weston. In fact, his cute little face and charming personality is part of what won them over with Andrew, too.
Linda had me at ‘my favorite band is the Avett Brothers.’ And I hate to sound cliche’ but she had Andrew at ‘hello.’ They had each other at ‘hello.’ On their wedding night, Andrew told all their friends and family how he met Linda. Andrew is a Lieutenant Colonel and one of his colleagues would suggest some off the wall circumstances that Andrew would eventually find himself into. More than one was so bizarre but still came to pass. So when this colleague suggested Andrew try Match.com he went for it. Linda and Andrew both gave speeches that night. Between the two of them the wonderful story of their life was woven together. Today they would tell you that they fell in love in a matter of weeks. They have never argued. Andrew said ‘neither of them has even raised an eyebrow.’ He told Linda she is so easy to love. When Andrew kissed Linda, she’d lean in and say ‘one more.’
The wedding…
Linda has impeccable taste and managed to perfectly tie rose gold together between their classic invitations, their wedding rings, her shoes and even their champagne flutes and cake knife. When you get married at Planterra at peak peony season you get lush gorgeous blooms of peonies galore. The space was bright, elegant, and classic with just the perfect dab of pink. At the end of the evening Planterra put a favor table together before the guests began to depart. Linda and Andrew had potted succulents for each guest to take home. I love the idea. Instead of eating the chocolate or drinking the wine your bring home from a wedding, you plant actual life. Every time you look at it you remember the couple and the fun you had that night.
Andrew and Linda, it has been an honor to be a small part of your special journey together. Your story is refreshing and inspiring. You already know that every day won’t be perfect but you also know how lucky you are to have found each other. Hugs – Kari
