If you are a bride dreaming of a garden wedding but fear the unpredictable Michigan weather then look no further than a summer Planterra Conservatory wedding! Even if it does rain on your wedding day, don’t panic. Simply trust your photographer; I’ve got you! Danielle and Michael spent plenty of time shooting their pretty portraits inside the conservatory but we of course stepped into the sun. All of us kept a watchful eye on the threatening clouds rolling in. And sure enough, after we made our way inside the heavens opened up. The timing couldn’t have been better as Michael and Danielle were tucked away in the air conditioning but the shuttle of guests hadn’t arrived just yet either.

The light inside the conservatory is always the thing that makes it such a magical wedding location. Despite a short downpour Danielle and Michael had plenty of gorgeous sunlight filtering in. The room was full of arrangements made of lush greenery, peonies of course, and a sprinkle of dahlias. As the sun set the clear lights and the candlelight came to life and created an intimate and cozy atmosphere for their party. There are so many gorgeous details to take in below. My favorite would be Daneille’s stunning dress.

Michael and Danielle, thank you for allowing me to capture your first day as husband and wife together. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better day for you both.
