Stony Creek Winter Engagement-1

After meeting in the cafeteria at Michigan State (go green!) Julie and Mitchell have been inseparable ever since. During the holiday season Mitchell got Julie to his mom’s house under the pretense of her needing help moving some furniture but before they made it inside they noticed Christmas lights in back. There were lights on the pergola with a rug, fire, two chairs with blankets and champagne. Christmas is such a magical time of year which had to add to the romance and surprise for Julie. But Mitchell didn’t stop there; he then whisked Julie away to a surprise engagement party with their family and friends.

And wait until you see sweet Izzy! Julie and Mitchell have adopted her all the way from Aruba. Sgt Peppers Friends is a fantastic organization in Aruba that takes in abandoned cats and dogs in very ill health and no home. Izzy truly is so sweet and had such fun with us exploring Stony Creek. The warm sunset behind the pine trees with just enough snow to make it pretty on a 40 degree afternoon. We got pretty lucky. These two are just sweet as can be and I can’t wait for their September wedding!!
