Details…
Leah and Bryant’s Lovett Hall at Greenfield Village winter wedding in Dearborn, Michigan was nothing short of classic elegance. Leah’s style is so sophisticated with small touches that make things all her own. Her wedding day shoes, for instance, were wrapped in crystals at the heel. There were many elements of family and tradition incorporated into their wedding day also. Leah was so stunning and her family so warm and inviting. Bryant looked amazing in his black tuxedo and wait until you see his unique bow tie. This wedding party is one gorgeous bunch!
Venue…
When I arrived at Lovett Hall the foyer was empty. There wasn’t a box of flowers in sight or a single chair to speak of. But in the time it took me to style Leah’s details and get her into her dress, it came alive. The ladies from Bella I’nventi created an altar area that was stunning and added swags of greenery to the chairs coming up the aisle. At the same time, in the ballroom, the tables were being draped in linen. The centerpieces were perfectly arranged and every last piece of cutlery was in place. The space was large enough for all of their guests to feel comfortable but lush enough that it drew you in.
I still love shooting outdoors in the cold months but when the ladies are in floor length bridesmaid dresses alone it isn’t so fun for them. So we crossed the small street to the main Henry Ford Museum for portraits. We wandered the long halls full of natural light and chandeliers. Every inch of the museum is so lovey and it was the perfect backdrop for such an elegant couple. The inner beauty of Leah and Bryant and the the warmth of their friends and family combined with the seamless timing and timeless style made this a fantastic day to wrap up my 2016 wedding season.
Leah and Bryant, the pair of you are truly lovely and I am so grateful to have been part of your wedding day. I have enjoyed getting to know you both and will definitely sneak in a visit when I make it back to Chicago.
