In 2009 Lisa first met Tim during a job interview. She left feeling like, not only did she not get the job, but certain that none of her interviewers were fond of her. Lisa did get the job! But she worked on a different team and didn’t reconnect with Tim again until 2012 when they had an opportunity to spend time together outside of work. Not only was Tim actually fond of Lisa, they had a lot in common. Before long, Tim was working for a new company and the pair became a couple. Tim casually asked Lisa one day if she wanted her mail and passed it along with a gorgeous ring on top. Lisa was definitely surprised and obviously said ‘yes.’

We had the incredible opportunity of shooting their engagement sessions at the Big House! Tim is a University of Michigan alumni and a big Michigan fan. Lisa and Tim have spent a lot of Saturdays together at the U of M football games so the stadium was an obvious choice. Our personal guide escorted us to the locker rooms and other fun stadium features. But we were all just so excited to get onto the field. We’ve had so much snow, so I am so glad the field was clear. We froze. We really, really froze but it was so fun and so worth it!

I am so excited for Tim and Lisa’s summer wedding. The ceremony is going to be gorgeous at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, Michigan. And the reception will take place at the lovely Weber’s Inn also in Ann Arbor.
