You guuuuuys! Let me tell you how OBSESSED I am over the Detroit Foundation Hotel and their restaurant the Apparatus Room. Their design team nailed it! And Doug and Angela looked SO good in the space while they enjoyed their cocktails and warmed up for their engagement session. How many first dates start off with a fun night of laughter and chatter… so much that you close down the establishment? Not too uncommon, right? Well, how many of those first dates end with a psychic acknowledging your first date and proclaiming your future marriage. That happened to Doug and Angela and while they both laugh about it now it was a little embarrassing at the time. Their proposal is right out of a Northern Michigan fairytale. They were walking along the coast of Mission Point watching the sunset over East Grand Traverse Bay chatting about how beautiful the area would be for a wedding when Angela found Doug on one knee. I mean, I personally am a total sucker for a. our Great Lakes b. summer and c. a solid sunset soooo sounds perfect to me. I’m also a sucker for a charming venue that looks like a European Chateau which is exactly what Angela and Doug chose with Addison Oaks. I can’t wait, Doug and Angela for your big day to finally arrive!!!
