Rochester Family Photos at the Rochester Municipal Park in Rochester Michigan provided by Kari Dawson Photography.
Before we get to more of their Rochester family photos in all of their fall glory, I thought I’d share a couple of previous photos. A few of my favorite moments from their previous sessions. In photos below. I love photographing weddings, that is no secret. I also really love watching your families grow. Having the opportunity to document those precious phases of life is a true honor.
Evan and Megan were married six years ago. To this day it is still one of the most memorable days for me because of how warm and authentic they are. And so are their families. Laughter is always in abundance. I have been photographing these sweet two-year-old babes since they were born.
One of the coolest things…
… I love most about what I do is seeing the generations in the faces of your children. Because I spend countless hours literally staring at your faces and the faces of your family while I shoot and edit your wedding, I then can see all of your faces in your kid’s faces. Knowing exactly how much little Max looks like his grandfather is so awesome to me. Which then reminds me of the way the sun set during Evan and Megan’s first dance at Goldner Walsh. And the way her mom scrunched her nose in laughter in the bedroom Megan got dressed in upstairs. I’m completely smitten and totally invested in every single family that I am so lucky to work with. And when you then trust me with the memories of your children. My heart explodes.
Enough gushing… onto the photos!
Boy does a year bring a lot of change when it comes to raising toddlers! I love their independence and their little personalities. And I love seeing that Megan and Evan in the thick of raising triplet toddlers still look at each other in total love. They are just down to earth as ever. And they are doing a truly incredible job of raising these babies, giving them experiences and access to things because the kids love it, even when they know ahead of time how difficult it’s going to be. Simply adore this family and continue to stand in awe over it all. xoxo
[…] I photographed a few years ago. (Shout out to our resident triplet parents and prior KDP couple Megan + Evan). But when you are a same sex couple you can’t flippantly book a photographer on a whim […]
