Matt and Michelle’s gray and navy meadow brook wedding was nothing short of perfect. I adored these two right away and have loved being on this journey with them. From reserving their big day. To their engagement session slash baby announcement. To finally meeting their sweet baby girl along with the best family and friends a couple could ask for.

Michelle got dressed in the home she and Matthew created together which was a photographer’s dream flooded with natural light and neutral decor. The pops of navy anchored their late summer wedding while keeping the guys and most of the reception decor neutral in gray. We were blessed with the kindest bridesmaids along with kind yet funny groomsman who kept us entertained. The sweet bonds among parents and siblings were so touching along with holding space during the ceremony for loved ones that have gone before them.

Michelle’s dress did not quite work out as planned but the amazing staff at Alessandra’s, in just two weeks, found a perfect match for Michelle and made it fit like a glove in time. Once everyone saw her in it, we all knew that was no way that her first choice could top how stunning she looked in her new dress. The train is the most unique touch I have ever seen. And you know I’ve seen a lot of wedding dresses!

Lori’s floral designs really stood out with their classic yet unstructured style full of lush greenery, perfect roses, and white anemone which are such a favorite of mine. The tables were draped in silver which anchored the space at Meadow Brook and the candlelight warmed the room.

sweet baby girl…

While the finishing touches were all stunning and important micro-decisions, they don’t come close to what really matters. Watching Matt and Michelle dance with their baby girl, clasp a gold bracelet engraved with her name and their wedding date around her tiny limb, and the pure joy and tearful emotions they shared throughout the day are the memories I’ll keep tucked in my heart for them. You’re one lucky lady, little Emerson!
