Shelley + Jose met on a mission trip in Puerto Rico while both in medical school. They clicked immediately! Then spent their downtime drinking Puerto Rican rum and salsa dancing on the streets of Poncé! They quickly became study buddies, dance partners, and best friends. Shelley planned a weekend getaway to celebrate Jose’s birthday. After a tour through a lighthouse and a little wander through the gardens, Jose actually surprised Shelley when he proposed!
