Moreover, I am pretty partial to the classic details the estate offers, such as the iron gates, lush gardens, and endless options for portraits with an old-world charm. Any season of the year, you can’t go wrong with a Meadow Brook Hall wedding.

Romance and whimsy

Rhett and Emily’s guests entered the space of the manicured rock garden through what I refer to as the secret garden door. The two-piece arch, skillfully created by Petit Fleur, anchored the ceremony space at the top of the stairs. With the bridesmaids in cranberry and the groomsman in navy, the florals became the perfect pop of color and elegance. Furthermore, the unstructured florals added to the whimsy and romance of Rhett and Emily’s Meadow Brook Hall wedding. Their color palette and backdrop of the estate created the perfect color story for a late summer wedding while incorporating rich pops of color to usher in those fall vibes.

Get the party started

As the sun set, guests followed the lantern-lit pathway into the garden tent as deer frolicked at the edge of the woods and the mansion and gardens lit up with romantic accent lighting. Huge shoutout to the groomsman and bridesmaids for their carefully crafted entrances. Special thanks are extended to the entire crew, Rhett and Emily’s friends, families, and especially Emily’s besties for making my team and I feel so incredibly welcome. You’re the best! With intros, toasts, dinner, and traditional dances complete the whole gang filled every square inch of that dance floor. It was such a fun experience to witness the love and energy in the room for this magnetic couple on their magical wedding day.
