I love it when my couples bring their cute dogs for their engagement sessions! Eric + Jessica did just that for their winter Rochester Engagement Session. I am so excited for you to see their cute one-year-old golden retriever puppy! Chase was so good! He was playful, very well behaved and so easy to photograph.
I have shot more this winter than I have any other winter. And let me tell you, I am SO grateful we’re having a mild one. I’m not anti-winter per say. The outdoors in the winter can be so much fun if you’re dressed for it. I don’t even hate the snow. I’m not a fan of super cold temps. And by super cold, what I mean is anything below oh, 35 degrees.
The sun was shining for the first portion of their session at Rochester Park. The atmosphere was kind of exciting with a winter festival going on. There were a lot of people milling about, ice skating and checking out the ice sculptures. It was great to be out enjoying the sun and creating memories. I had a blast wondering around Rochester with Eric and Jessica while we talked and I got to know them better. Engagement sessions, for me, go beyond capturing this exciting time. It goes beyond a ‘trial run’ so that we have a chance to work together. I truly enjoy getting to know my couples. I love hearing their stories and watching their natural reactions to each other as they tell me about themselves and their lives together.
I can’t wait to see how everything comes together at Nixon Farms and capture your wedding day, Jessica and Eric!!
