Tara and Wesley’s cranberry and navy Royal Oak Farmers Market wedding was the perfect mix of vintage-inspired and classic. With a unique venue. And just the right amount of ‘pop’ of fall color. These two met on campus at the University of Michigan where study sessions turned into study dates and the rest, as they say, is history. Their proposal was intimate and quiet just outside the steps of Tara’s downtown apartment. And these two have shared quite the crazy life together with Wes usually stationed out of state as a pilot in the Navy while Tara is in med school.

These two are the gentlest people I have ever met. And so patient and so kind. From our less than ideal meeting via FaceTime with my almost non-existent wifi/cell signal in the pouring rain, to even apologize profusely when one of our calls needed to be bumped for a transplant patient. Can you imagine nicer people? And their ceremony and reception proved that there are plenty of people who agree. They were constantly surrounded by family and friends. The highlight for me is hands down Tara sneaking up behind Faith and scarring the pant off of her. We are practical jokesters in my house, constantly jumping out of dark corners to scare each other. So when a bride jumps on that bandwagon, we know she’s our tribe!!

Tara and Wesley, Faith and I truly had the best day with the pair of you and all of your welcoming family and friends! I wish you both the very best as you navigate the upcoming choices this first year will bring you. Allll the hugs!!! Kari
