Sarah and Bob’s Oakland Hills Country Club Wedding is sitting among one of my all-time favorite weddings that I have had the pleasure to be part of. Not only is Bob tightly knit with his sister but ALL of the siblings are so legitimately connected. Sarah has three sisters and a brother which are the exact dynamics of my own family. As I pulled my favorites from Bob and Sarah’s day and began editing I paused over and over again as I worked through them. I even sent Sarah screenshots along the way. I was so inspired by these two families as I moment after moment of true tenderness and connection.
Sarah and Bob were married at the Shrine of the Little Flower where Bob and his family spent a lot of time praying for his late mother. It was important to Bob and Sarah both that they pray for the first time as a married couple in a place their faith was built.
Let’s celebrate…
After an intimate wedding ceremony, they celebrated with friends and family at the Oakland Hills Country Club. One of the things I love that Oakland Hills offers their couples is an intimate and romantic time for two. While cocktail hour and celebrations kick off on the floor below the couple gets tucked away in an upper room where they can be alone to enjoy appetizers and drink champagne. And after dinner the night gave way to tradition and celebration. I can’t truly articulate how much these two and their families have imprinted on my heart. Sarah and Bob, I truly have enjoyed getting to know you both and loved every second of our time together. Keep celebrating!! Hugs – Kari
