The space at the Dearborn Inn where they both got ready along with the architecture and beauty of Lovett Hall really demonstrates that these two knew exactly the vision they wanted to achieve.

Personal style, fashion, and always leaning more toward being overdressed has always been a part of who I am. And I can remember scrolling through Sarah’s Instagram feed and seeing a hashtag dedicated to her that read #whatwouldsarahwear and it is literally goals. Sarah’s mom said it best when she told Sarah that “she was wearing her wedding dress; the dress is not wearing you.” The secret to that isn’t in the fit of the dress. It’s in the grace, elegance, and confidence of the woman wearing it. These qualities beam from Sarah.

You might think that would make Sarah studious in character, serious, or unapproachable when in reality the opposite is true. But she really comes alive when Steven is by her side. Together they emanate pure contagious joy. They are silly and don’t take themselves too seriously. They are easy and comfortable together and naturally gravitate toward holding on in some capacity even without any of my creative direction.

They are blessed with rich family and friends as precious as gemstones. It’s clear in the fondness that each person shared with them how easy it is to love on Sarah and Steven because they so naturally love on the ones they love. It’s a blessing to know this couple!
