Fewer things are more romantic than a Christmas wedding like Lucas and Corinne’s winter Grosse Pointe Yacht Club wedding. I loved the handmade and vintage vibe their entire day embodied with mostly lush greenery and a pop of cranberry for the holiday season. Their beautiful invitation suite added a touch of whimsy with the plaid back while keeping it refined with the velvet ribbon and wax seal. Corinne’s dress was full of bling and was the perfect silhouette for her. Her shoes are from Etsy and have a hand beaded feel. Her wedding day bag is the most glamorous wedding day purse I have ever seen making the sweetest gift for the bride to be because it actually is handmade. You already know I am going to say I love the guys in classic black tuxedos!

Their story…

Corinne and Lucas met the old school way. Mutual friends introduced them their freshman year at Hillsdale College. They hit it off immediately. Became serious pretty quickly. And enjoyed getting to know each other with so many things in common. I personally was immediately smitten with them both and had a blast getting to know them at their engagement session. Lucas created a romantic proposal at Hayden Park in Hillsdale after a long summer of long distance. He created a picnic for them to enjoy full of Corinne’s favorite snacks and even trying his hand at charcuterie. As they watched the sun set together, Lucas teased Corinne into thinking there was a spider on her which distracted her enough before she turned to find Lucas on one knee. Your proposal stories will never get old. I adore hearing every part of your stories together.
