What a YEAR it has been for Gabi and Kyle. Like so many other couples, Kyle and Gabi had to postpone their big wedding plans in 2020. But instead of postponing the entire event they postponed all of their original plans to 2021 but opted to still get married in 2020. They celebrated their nuptials with immediate family only in Boston in 2020 then brought all of the Michigan gang and all of the Boston gang together under one roof FINALLY for their War Memorial wedding.

Their style…

Kyle and Gabi planned a classic black and white wedding with the city of Detroit serving as the backdrop as they enjoyed getting ready with their favorite people around them. Their ceremony took place at the majestic Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Then danced the night away at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe. Gabi’s dress… the silhouette plus her cathedral length veil was perfection on her. Bridesmaids were stunning in their classic black floor-length bridesmaid dresses. And the men of course were looking dapper as even in their classic black tuxedos.

The tented space for their War Memorial wedding was draped beautifully from the ceiling. Edison bulbs and chandeliers made the entire space sparkle. The centerpieces maintained their black and white theme while keeping the elegance kicked up. The candlelight smattered about the tables added to the glow and intimacy of the whole evening. And I cannot forget to mention the individual Boston Creme Pies created and provided for each guest as their table place card. Such a fun personal touch as their nod to living in Boston together.

Their story…

Gabi and Kyle’s story began ten years ago. They have been newlyweds for a year and yet during the first look this November we overheard Kyle ask Gabi if he could touch her butt. It really is the magic in the little moments that keep relationships fresh, conversation flowing, and the dream of the future alive.
