I can hardly believe how long I have been chatting with Alexi and Chase about their wedding. It has been almost one full year since their engagement. We got to celebrate at gorgeous metropark and strolling through Downtown Northville. The day before Thanksgiving, last year, Alexi spent an afternoon with her sister getting their hair and nails done in preparation for a night out with friends. Alexi is a lot like me in that after such an eventful afternoon, she lacked the strength to head to cocktail hour. But they were in town from Cincinnati for the holiday. Alexi was convinced to head to downtown Plymouth with Chase. Rain began to fall as Alexi tried to quickly pull Chase toward their destination. Can you blame a gal for trying to salvage her hair? Chase managed to slow Alexi’s pace despite the rain and she found him on one knee. She said yes, of course, and was whisked away to one of her favorite restaurants where they were greeted by a room full of loved ones to celebrate.

I had so much fun with you, Chase and Alexi during your session. Thank you for sharing a couple of your favorite places with me. I am completely smitten with Northville and can’t wait to get back to that adorable coffee shop. But I am even more excited to see how your summer wedding comes together next year!
