I met Kelly + Patrick for their fall downtown Rochester Michigan engagement photos on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon. As I began to help them warm up and relax a bit they both said ‘oh we’re relaxed.’ Irish whiskey will do that for you AND keep you warm on a Michigan fall afternoon. That’s one of the reasons I know these are my people. I got to chat with Patrick about our small town high school football team who won Division 1 states last year. And this year they are well on their way to Ford Field again! Pat was at Ford Field last year to see his alma matter, St Mary’s. We got lucky enough to still have fall color lingering in the Rochester Municipal Park. Before the end I was able to meet Kelly’s parents when they brought Pat and Kelly’s adorable fur baby to their session. Nessy (short for Guinness) is a snuggly love bug! And Kelly’s mom is so excited about their engagement that it’s tangible.
I can’t wait for their August wedding at St Mary’s and Glen Oaks!
