Confidence…
It truly takes a special kind of confidence to be a bride in white that hand-picks her best babes to stand next to her… also in white. And that statement right there can completely encompass so much of what I witnessed throughout Theresa and Jeffrey’s wedding day. Theresa found her prince and everyone who surrounded them expressed nothing short of heart felt joy and support.
Style…
In groups of two or more the ladies of Theresa’s tribe began to roll into her childhood bedroom. With them, they brought so much energy. Theresa’s hair and makeup were impeccable. As was the case for all of the ladies. Theresa in her floral robe greeted each gal one by one while there was music and dancing happening all around her. Not to mention the festivities and alllllll of the food happening downstairs. Once I was finished styling all of Theresa’s pretty details it was time for her to step into her dress. That gown was MADE for Theresa. And the white floor-length dresses that the bridesmaids wore were a perfect style and fit for every single one of those babes!
Getting ready…
Once Theresa was in her dress, all of her little nieces came up for snuggles and photos. Shortly after that all of her family members made their way up to greet Theresa. Every aunt, uncle, parent, and grandparent cried. This was a family that displayed such an utter sense of JOY over the upcoming nuptials. This wasn’t a grand ole’ party but a set of loving family members who appreciated the gravity of marriage. And, found so much joy knowing Theresa had found her joy. Her prince. Before long it was time to head to the church. Theresa’s brother, who may have just been the proudest of all, placed her shoes upon her feet. He then, along with Therea’s sister, escorted her down the stairway. At the bottom of the stairs, as tears were shed, Theresa’s family handed her off to Jeffrey’s mom and brother to be whisked away to the church.
Their ceremony…
If Jeff was nervous, he didn’t show it. And as everyone began to make their way up the aisle he beamed. He nearly skipped down the aisle halfway as he greeted Theresa and her father before ushering her to the altar for their vows. Wait until you scroll and get to see the expressions on their faces as they headed up the aisle arm in arm. The church and the ceremony itself were equally as beautiful. But if you’ve been around here a while you know the walk back down the aisle after they say ‘i do’ is always my favorite. Second only to the actual church exit. And thiers is one of my favorites!
The tradition, the toast, the blessing, the music and all of the dancing left me feeling so lucky to have been part of such a lovely wedding. Theresa and Jeffrey, our prelude to your wedding was way too short but still sweet. I loved every second of your wedding day and meeting all of your friends and family. You ALL are babes! Thank you for inviting me into your perfect day!! Hugs – Kari
