I tried something new with Laura and Jared toward the end of their session. I asked each of them to think of something the other has done that they are really proud of. After a few minutes, I asked them to take turns sharing those thoughts with each other. Their kind words combined with know they weren’t going to see each other for ten weeks this summer created a precious moment between the two of them. I hope that when their eyes land on those photos, today and for years ahead, they remember the kind words they shared with each other that day. I hope they discover new things to be proud of in each other always. And I hope they always take the time to share those kind words and thoughts with each other.

Jared is busy building a career locally in Ann Arbor while Laura is currently out of state for her summer internship which will hopefully lead to a post-grad job relocating them together to DC. Laura is one intelligent, strong, confident, tough cookie. She met Jared during their undergrad at U of M. She eventually relocated to Chicago for law school all while her family is back home in Vegas. These adorable love birds are completely smitten, extremely kind and up for anything I throw at them. I can’t wait for their 2020 wedding!!!
