Just when I started to ponder my brand colors and consider migrating away from pink I end up shooting back to back engagement sessions with both brides in pink. I love it! Catherine and Joe’s outfit came together perfectly for their Stony Creek engagement photos. You might not be able to tell from scrolling through their images but it was barely thirty degrees! Joe and Catherine were both troopers and did an amazing job looking natural while battling the chill.

Joe doesn’t say a whole lot. I’m sure that changes as he gets more comfortable with the company he keeps. But the things that he DID say held weight and value. When I asked Joe if he still watches all of Catherine’s shows (she plays in a band) he swiftly said yes as long as he is in town. Joe’s work schedule often keeps him out of town for several days on end as a pilot. Catherine finished his thought by saying that Joe is her biggest fan. I think she meant that to mean more than just his presence at a show.

Catherine is a teacher and when one of her colleagues became separated after a job changed she asked Catherine if she could give her number to her brother. Catherine thought it a little odd but said why not. And here they are frolicking in the fields of Stony Creek with me as they navigate the final planning stages of their June wedding. Bonus points that their venue is directly across the street from my home and office.

I’m so thrilled to be on this journey with you both. As a mom of one son and four daughters I can’t wait to meet all of your sisters and the rest of the fam.
