Jill and Lew have a wedding day that is quickly approaching so we were all excited to get started with the engagement process and really lucked out for their snowy winter engagement photos right here in Romeo. Farm house – check. Snow – check. A second family owned farm house – check. Snow – check. Rolling property – check. A barn – check. A jaunt to their favorite local spot downtown – check.

Our small worlds collided as Jill and Lew began to plan their wedding. These two have personality plus and all of the confidence to go with it. I was so excited to meet Jill virtually via zoom while she was in VEGAS. When she talks about wedding plans her smile does not stop. When she talks about Lew, her smile does not stop. If you ask her about her children or Lew’s and how their family is blending she gets moved to tears with pride and gratitude. Lew looks at Jill (and calls her Jilly) like he literally was made to orbit around her and treats her as such.

Getting a peek into the spaces they share together both at home and at our local Office Pub was a true joy. It allowed me to see beyond facade of them as individuals and see how they enjoy sharing time together. I am completely smitten with these two. I absolutely cannot wait for their Shinola wedding. I’m even more excited to meet the rest of the gang. The telling of THIS story is going to be incredible.
