You could say I have fully embraced engagement season this time around. Danielle, Ryan and I stood in blizzard conditions on the rooftop of a parking garage in Detroit for their snow Detroit engagement session… and I thought it was fun! I met Danielle and her mom initially at her consult and later met Ryan at their session. Danielle and I connected right away and she had me laughing at her sarcasm and fantastic sense of humor in no time.

Danielle’s family tried for some time to get Danielle and Ryan in the same room together. It proved a bit tricky while Danielle lived in Chicago. Eventually though, Danielle’s aunts did get her home one Christmas. They invited Ryan and worked their magic. Can you imagine having your first ‘date’ at your own family Christmas party? No pressure there. Ryan and Danielle hit it off and they’ve been together ever since. Like minds, similar interests and career choices have complimented their lives with that of their family making the connection even easier.

Danielle I truly enjoyed the snow, Detroit, your session and your company! You two are easy to be with and made things so fun. I can’t wait until November when the pair of you will light up the gorgeous St. Paul on the Lake! And continue the celebration at Waterview Loft. The space is stunning and I can’t wait to see how your ideas and style come together.
