I absolutely love the dress that Kassidy chose to coordinate Robert’s tie with for their summer engagement photos in Michigan; more specifically, Stony Creek. The tall grass, beautiful setting sun, and a flowy dress in the perfect shade of periwinkle blue has me gushing over these two.
Kass and her lovely family entered our lives when she and one of our daughters were on the high school cheer team together. She quickly became a darling in the Dawson house. The girls spent many fun high school nights together, shared family vacations, and even a struggle or two.
Kassidy and Robert’s story also begins in high school. High school sweethearts sharing all of those rights of passage together from Prom to graduation and moving off into the setting collegiate sun. They did take a break along the way and have found their way back to each other. As adults, you quickly learn to take less for granted. Hug your people a little tighter. And learn the real value in relationships. Like me, Kass and Robby’s families have to be so proud of the young adults these two have become. And I am thrilled that my kiddo and Kassidy have held tight to their friendship, too!
I am beyond excited and truly honored to be part of their story and their wedding day. I absolutely cannot wait to see how they fancy up Pine Knob Mansion in 2022!!! It is going to be an absolute dream!
