Meeting and working with Jeff and Andrea for their Planterra wedding was a bit of a whirlwind that come together quickly. The wedding planning itself though was over 18 months in the making. And no detail was left untouched.

The details…

They found a way to include their pup Kayla in the signature drink signage. Andrea’s wedding day Badgley Mischka’s quite literally match the dress. The dress by the way is to die for. Andrea’s jewelry started with a desire to have something drape her back to compliment the open back of her dress. What she ended up with was a custom piece created just for her that delicately dangled in the front and draped her back along with a matching bracelet and earrings. Then her beautiful step-mother snuck to the register and purchased them for her.

Planterra, per usual, created masterpiece bouquet that included pops of cranberry to pull in the lovely color the bridesmaids wore. The lush greenery, cream florals combined with blush completed Andrea’s bouquet. That same perfect combination was used to create the bouquets for the rest of the ladies and to spill perfectly onto every table at the reception.

Their connection…

When you find love or reconnect with your love, in your forties you don’t take a second of it for granted. You remain fully aware of the roads you traveled to bring you both together. And when the day finally arrives that you get to say ‘I do’ you embrace the heck out of it. Andrea took a quiet moment to write out a card for Jeff and read it aloud before sealing it safely into the envelope. It took many pauses and a few tears to get it all out. Jeff found himself getting emotional as he read the precious words written by Andrea. And they both would find themselves overcome with emotion a few more moments as the day progressed.

Jeff and Andrea, I hope you continue to never take a single second together for granted. Continue to date. Continue to adventure together. Turn into each other when things get difficult. Annnnnnd call me for a double dinner date!
