We LOVE confetti…

Have you ever experienced confetti cannons on New Years Eve? This past New Years Eve is only my second time standing under confetti as it fell from above. The first time was during the encore at a Bruno Mars concert where I had floor seats (EPIC). The second was Alex and Natalie’s New Years Eve wedding which also, let me tell you, was EPIC! The tune Auld Lang Syne blasted through the speakers immediately after the POP and my eyes may have been leaking while I continued to work and photographically capture as much as possible for this lovely couple to remember forever.

The Henry…

The spaces at The Henry as Natalie and Alex got ready were spacious and flooded with natural light. The hallway to the event space was one of the things Natalie and I loved most about the venue. The rest of the space leading to their ballroom was situated with sleek furnishings which we used to create some epic moments with the full wedding party. And the ballroom itself is stunning.

Favorite trend…

If there is any one trend that Faith and I loved about 2021 it is black on black on black. We LOVE bridesmaids in floor length black dresses. It will never go out of style. I personally think there is just nothing more classic than a group of men in black tuxedos. Combine that with natural bouquets and downtown Detroit as the backdrop and boom you have a timeless wedding style.

Favorite memory…

One of my favorite memories of the day was actually hearing each of their dads brag about their children for a few minutes before then gushing about the partner they have chosen for life. These two are truly loved by many and their parents and siblings are PROUD.
