Capturing the Magic: An Indian American Wedding at Planterra Conservatory, West Bloomfield, Michigan
When love knows no boundaries and cultures unite in celebration, it’s a moment that deserves to be immortalized through the lens of a camera. Last weekend, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful Indian American wedding at the enchanting Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This magical day was a testament to the power of love, family, and the stunning backdrop that Planterra provides.
Planterra Conservatory Wedding
Planterra Conservatory, nestled in the heart of West Bloomfield, Michigan, is a hidden gem among wedding venues. With its lush greenery, soaring glass ceilings, and an inviting ambiance, it provides the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. The wedding took place under a canopy of exotic plants, twinkle lights, and candles sprinkled throughout creating a unique and intimate atmosphere for the couple and their guests.
Cultural Fusion Wedding
This particular wedding was a beautiful fusion of Indian and American cultures. From the traditional Indian dress to the western-style ceremony and reception, it was a celebration of diversity and love. As a photographer, it was a privilege to capture the harmonious blend of two rich cultures coming together in perfect harmony.
Photographing an Indian American wedding at Planterra was a truly magical experience. The venue’s natural beauty, combined with the rich cultural tapestry of the wedding, made it a memorable occasion for everyone involved. As a photographer, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do – capturing love stories that transcend borders and cultures.
If you’re considering Planterra Conservatory for your wedding, I highly recommend it. And if you’re in need of a photographer to capture your special day, feel free to reach out. I’d love to be a part of your love story.
Taylor + Jessica
I think my favorite part of walking alongside my couple’s on their wedding day is watching the whole gammut of emotions play over your faces and body language. Taylor and Jessica were officially married in February but that did not stop their nerves from nearly boiling over on their big day. To combat those nerves, they woke up in the morning together and spent much of their preparation time together. Still, they both had few words to share. As an introvert at heart myself, I can relate to the intensity one might experience as they prepare to stand in front of literally everyone they know and love and pronounce their love for each other. So it was no surprise to me to see Taylor’s personality come to life minutes after the pressure of their ceremony. And to watch Jessica’s smile grow wide as her shoulders finally relaxed. They were never far from one another throughout their entire day and evening of celebration. What an honor to also watch as their parents proudly looked on. Cousins that are like siblings shed tears of pride and joy. And to celebrate everyone piled on the dance floor and sang along aloud to every song all night long. My heart is so full of joy after witnessing these two and their families come together to celebrate the new life Taylor and Jessica are creating together. Thank you to you both and your warm hearted families for allowing my team and I to document your precious memories. xoxo – Kari
