If you ask Megan about her love story she’ll tell you ‘a figure skater and a hockey player walk into a rink…’ Buuuuut not the first time they crossed paths at the rink or the second. No, it wasn’t until they were both in their final semester at Michigan State. And it’s precisely why we had to start their MSU engagement photos right outside of the rink!
Tevyn proposed at the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum in Seattle. It happens to be the location of one of their first shared memories and places they visited together in the city. After getting engaged in front of a camera and a small crowd, it became an even bigger priority to really ensure they are comfortable in front of the camera. And they were naturals!
The traditional wedding they had planned for this August at Meadow Brook has been postponed until next year. But we had a blast celebrating the importance of their engagement on campus among some of their favorite areas on campus. I can only imagine the memories that flare and even butterflies that set flight when a couple wonders together where they first met and began to date. What an amazing way to honor the beginning of their relationship as they prepare for the beginning of their marriage.

You will feel calm on one of the most overwhelming days of your life. You will forget the camera was there. You will find yourself holding photographs of moments you were not fully aware were happening when they did.
You will feel like they belong there. Not as vendors. As people who already understood what the day meant before they ever walked through the door.
share a cherished story from your time together. Could be how you met, a travel story, a date night, or anything else that comes to mind.
