Weddings are romantic. Weekend after weekend I witness first hand a couple on their first day of marriage. But what I also get to witness is the effect weddings have on the friends and family that attend. Couples snuggle in a little closer. They dance a little longer. Sparks are rekindled and eyes sparkle at each other. I met Shannon and John recently for their Ann Arbor Engagement Session. Shannon and John attend church together but it was at the wedding of another couple that kindled their relationship. John admitted that Shannon caught his eye long before that first conversation and it was that easy conversation and Shannon and the way she carried herself that ultimately led him to ask her out. I love having couples talk about how they met and what attracted one to another. Men are eager to talk about what they love about their lovely lady and the ladies are always eager to hear their answers. In turn, my brides tell me about their men and I adore the way they look at their fiancé as they tell stories and look all bashful and cute and stuff. Shannon and John have an easy way together. John is so sweet to Shannon which made their entire session fun-loving and light. I’m so excited for the garden party they have planned for their wedding day!
