I was really excited with Ellen and Chris chose Heritage Park for their sunset engagement session. Heritage Park is one of my favorite locations to shoot and I love it so much that our last family photo session was there as well. I met Chris and Ellen both for the first time at their engagement session. They both greeted me with a warm welcome. I then saw their adorable pair of pitbulls in the backseat waiting for their close ups. Magnus is a pretty big boy with a grey coat and the sweetest demeanor. Corella was a little timid but both of them were so sweet and well trained. I can see why Chris and Ellen love them so much.
Chris and Ellen met and dated in high school before going off to Michigan State University where they relationship really flourished. I always love hearing the stories of high school sweethearts. Ellen and Chris both had quiet demeanors but I know they’re young and adventurous. When I asked Chris to lift Ellen and spin her, his face lit up. Ellen played along but I think it may have been Chris’s favorite part of the session. I loved seeing them with their precious pups and the quiet moments they shared during their session.
I am so excited to see how their sense of style comes to life at Meadowbrook Hall next year!
