I have been pretty committed to only shooting engagement sessions and weddings but occasionally a high school senior will sneak in there. After shooting my own daughter, Faith’s senior portraits and Emily’s recently, I’ve been left wondering why I don’t take on more senior sessions. I love the tenacity of a young adult entering their final year of high school. The world is at the tip of their fingers. They can be anything they choose to be. Adventure, life, new friendships await and they’re not afraid of any of it. Emily is an Oxford senior in the graduating class of 2016. She is stunningly beautiful, graceful, creative, loves Jesus and is eager to learn and grow. I had so much fun capturing her quiet personality and getting to know her a bit (even though our families have been connected since long before she was born). Her future is limitless and I’m eager to continue to watch her grow into a beautiful woman and see just where her talents take her.
The weirdest assistant sitting down on the job!
