I met Bailey and Mike at BESA in Detroit, Michigan for their Downtown Detroit engagement pictures which is where it all began for them.

Bailey and Mike met for their first date. Scratch that. Bailey met Mike at BESA for a job interview. The job interview turned first date. Turned first kiss. Turned she got the job but turned it down and has been with Mike ever since. ⁠

I mean, as a wedding photographer, I have heard A LOT of stories but theirs might just be my current fave.

The humor and all of the laughter is brought to you by Mike. In other words, they created all the magic. I just documented it. It’s scientifically impossible to even attempt to do anything other than laughing in their presence. It’s one of my favorite qualities and I’m sure Bailey will find herself a happy, happy gal for life!

By the way, BESA is a VIBE. Go there! I’m all in for date night there. We all loved BESA. After that Bailey and Mike strolled and posed for me on the streets of Detroit before heading to the DIA to wrap up. And I got to meet their angel boy and pride and joy, Roger! Roger stole the show! My wedding schedule at Shinola this year didn’t pan out so I am so excited to be shooting Bailey and Mike’s wedding there in 2021. And right in their own town. Man, it must be cool to call Detroit home!
