cara + chris {i will} Stoneycreek Engagement

i will {engagement}

I met Cara + Chris at Stoneycreek Metro Park for their engagement session recently and we were in luck with one of the loveliest evenings! We all know it was either too wet or too hot in the month of June so we were pretty pumped. Unfortunately, so were the bees. There is this beautiful little bridge with a bench that someone covered with large rocks. I made a ton of noise moving things out of the way and cleaning things up so we could use the bench. Not even a full minute after I asked Chris to take a seat he was nailed in the cartilage of his ear and stung by a bee. Not such a fun way to get things started. But we were blessed with divine light and were later joined by their cute pup, Tucker which led to a pretty great time. Cara and Chris, thank you for spending your evening with me and I’m sorry about the bees guys! I can’t wait to see how things come together for your winter wedding!!! Hugs!!! – Kari

You will feel calm on one of the most overwhelming days of your life. You will forget the camera was there. You will find yourself holding photographs of moments you were not fully aware were happening when they did.

You will feel like they belong there. Not as vendors. As people who already understood what the day meant before they ever walked through the door.

A mother and daughter who show up to your wedding day as two leads with one vision.
