We spent the early afternoon hours bouncing from one hotel room at the Royal Park Hotel to directly across the hall to another as Lauren and Chase got ready separately for their wedding day. Just in case you are wondering, this set up actually made things so much less stressful, leaving us convinced they wouldn’t accidentally run into each other. I gasped at the sight of the silhouette of Lauren’s wedding dress and couldn’t wait to get her into it. Chase proved to be the most easy going groom I think we have ever worked with. I mean, until that moment before their first look. That moment right before a first look or moments before the ceremony begins are the most brutal of the day. Chase and Lauren’s blush Meadow Brook Hall summer wedding is one of the prettiest and mildest (weather) days we’ve had at Meadow Brook.

Lauren first met chase in an interview in Dallas when he was one of two engineers that accompanied her to lunch. After working and getting to know each other for about a year, they began dating. Three years later after a celebratory sushi dinner, they walked their cherished Cavalier King Charles, named Louie, near a gorgeous fountain where Chase got down on one knee.

Their special day was full of beaming smiles, cherished family, sunny skies, and my personal favorite, many hints of pink.
