Every last detail of Sara and Joel’s spring Planterra Conservatory wedding day was carefully planned and curated. The wedding stationary is simple and elegant. A subtle floral monochromatic detail pulled together perfectly with the final touches that include vellum, silk ribbon, and a custom wax seal. You already know that subtle floral pattern was a hint of what was to come at Planterra. The floral theme continued with Sara’s bridal robe which was the loveliest floral lace pattern while still being dainty like her. Her beaded shoes have the added touch of a bow on the back. Simple pearl earrings kept things elegant and classic while the pearl pins in Sara’s hair added a real wow factor. Then I saw her dress… and I almost lost it. A fitted sweetheart neckline bodice gave way to an a-line gown made of the most stunning floral lace with a pretty decent train. Sarah floated in her dress and looked so stunning.

His style…

My couples are always finding new ways for the groom to remain true to their own sense of style while standing out from the groomsman. Joel is no acceptation with his tweed suit. He kept his shirt and tie white and classic which allowed his blush colored rose boutonniere to pop off of his jacket. Sara and the bridesmaids bouquets were created with the loveliest color palette of cream and pinks with lush greenery while the installation for the ceremony and the florals in the reception space held pops of fuchsia. The bridesmaids opted to all wear blush while changing up the style of each bridesmaid dress just a tad. And the groomsman were looking classy in their gray suits and their ties being another pop of color.

Joel + Sara…

Not only did Sara and Joel share a first look, they took it a step further. Instead of the customary ring exchange during their ceremony, the couple opted to exchanged letters to each other and their bands, privately right after their first look. I did not keep it together. Neither did they. Their exchange was so intimate and emotional and the living proof that the truest and purest of love really does exist.
