Christina and Alex are the perfect examples of what an engagement session can do for your overall experience. Christina was a little reserved, a little shy. But we had a bunch of fun together at MSU, they loved their engagement session photos. And we had all gotten to know each other better in the process. They got comfortable in front of the camera as well. They were so comfortable and truly trusted me with them, their memories, and managing their time.

Ladies style…

You know I’m a sucker for a floor length blush bridesmaid dress. The florals created by Petit Fleur coordinated perfectly and weren’t too heavy, even though, they were a lovely size. I love that Christina and her bridesmaids also wore floral silk pajama tops instead of robes. I LOVE the robes but these tops buttoned in front making changing easy but allowed them to choose a cozy bottom. Switching rooms or venues in a floral robe can be tricky business.

Gents style and all the glorious light…

Alex and the groomsman in navy combined with the bride and bridesmaids updos and final details created a lovely classic wedding. The Community House in Birmingham served as the perfect backdrop. We had the loveliest sunny afternoon with the most beautiful light. Some of their portraits look like we were frolicking in South Carolina. The light and trees are so pretty.
