amanda + ken {i will} michigan spring engagement

I loved watching Ken trying to steal kisses throughout their session while Amanda playfully resisted. A girl has to preserve her makeup folks! Ken ultimately proclaimed his mission to keep kissing Amanda on her cheeks and forehead and kept nuzzled in close. I often give my couples space in their poses and give them time to just be together. To chat and interact. And every time the pair of them were left to their own devices Ken would bust into a laugh. Amanda is so sweet and flirty and I adored seeing just how completely smitten Ken is with her. We spent a good deal of time wandering though the park, chatting and taking in all the amazing warmth of the sun. The gorgeous light and tall grass were a photographer’s dream and things got even sweeter when they rented a row boat. It may have been a liiiiitle bit of work getting the boat and the wind to work in Ken’s favor but he did ultimately prevail and I love the way theses turned out!

I’m not one to rush summer but I’m already so excited to see how beautifully their fall wedding will unfold. I love the quiet demeanor the two of you have and the sweetness you share with one another. The pair of you are truly beautiful inside and out and I know when we add a wedding glow on a fall day we’re going to have magic!
