A lovely pastel wedding at Lovett Hall…

I truly cannot say enough kind things about Adam and Hajra and the warm welcome we experienced from their families. Adam and Hajra, on their wedding day, were both soft spoken yet so tender with each other. Together they are looking forward to deepening their connection to each other, knowledge of each other, and growing old together. Their familes are incredibly proud, supportive and were just beaming with pride through the entire day.

Adam and Hajra were previously married so the wedding at Lovett Hall included a welcome hour of mocktails and appetizers before heading into the ballroom for dinner. A beautiful prayer was spoken over them, their lives, and their special day. A friend of Hajra’s gave a heartfelt toast before the making bringing Hajra to tears over the tenderness of the love from her close friend. Adam and Hajra’s sisters were so full of joy and excitement that it was contagious.

Getting ready…

Hajra and Adam’s day began quietly at Hajra’s home where a team did the hair and makeup for the ladies while Adam prepared in another space. The pastel tones of their desi attire was not only flattering but perfect for a midsummer wedding. Hajra and Adam were both in custom made ensembles from Pakistan that were perfectly suited for each of them. I especially loved seeing the care Adam took of Hajra during the task of doing her nails before jetting off to the venue. His patience is unmistakable and the way Hajra looks at Adam is so endearing.

The ballroom…

The pastel color palette was carried from the details early on in the day into the ballroom at Lovett Hall. Bellisario created a room full of masterpieces making each table look so unique. The tables were adorned with a variety of florals that draped some tables, sat atop large scale gold sconces, and other’s that anchored the table with an unstructured centerpiece. The florals and wedding cake mixed with the historical architecture of Lovett Hall itself and chandeliers created a space that was intimate yet vibrant and so romantic. After toasts and entrees the couple spent the evening with unique entertainment that kept their guests laughing and on their toes. A special thank you to the entire vendor team and Kerriann from With Love Events for ensuring that every aspect of their day was perfect.

I am deeply honored to have been invited in to document such a special occassion for this lovely couple and their families. I pray your love continues to grow, that you adventure together through life, and that you are blessed with many many years together.
