How they met…

In the fall of 2017, fate would lead Hallie to a chair right next to Grant in a lecture hall. That chance meeting would lead to hours of lecture halls together and homework. Which eventually lead to college shenanigans together. Grant’s brother clearly remembers the night he wondered into a space looking for the girl who caught Grant’s attention. When he yelled through the space he was greeted with an epic rebuttal that made Grant’s brother just as fond of Hallie. From there, five years of happiness, memories, hard work, two puppies, vacations, golf outings, football and softball games later they got to have their ‘I do.’

Their style…

September is the month that brought their lives together in a lecture hall. And September is the month that brought their lives together in marriage. Hallie’s personal style came to life beautifully with her hair done in fishtail braids, a stunning lace wedding gown that was magical on her, delicate pearls in her ears and around her neck combined with the delicate beading on her veil. Her bridesmaids wore floor length bridesmaid dresses in a lovely merlot color. Hallie’s bridal shoes were so fun, also in a beaded merlot. I love that the florals were all kept simple with lots of greenery and creamy and pink roses while adding just a pop of color to only Hallie’s bouquet. Grant and the groomsman complimented the ladies beautifully with their blue suits and merlot ties.

The festivities…

Grant and Hallie’s first look is probably my favorite moment of their day. Emotions were high and created the sweetest moment while their parents looked on from a nearby deck. We had the best time frolicking together outside of the Lapeer Country Club as the colors of fall began to set in. The afternoon was mild allowing for their ceremony to be held outdoors. After a few tears were shed, by many present for their vows, Grant and Hallie were elated to saunter back down the aisle as the new Mr and Mrs. The bar was open, guests were seated and we rolled right into the rest of the most fun reception.

Grant and Hallie, I hope that your wedding day was everything you dreamed it would be and then some. Enjoy those fur babies of yours! Thank you for inviting me onto this journey with you both.
