Planterra would be a dream wedding venue for many couples but none more than those planning a winter wedding. It’s the best of both worlds with a large indoor space full of natural light and tons of natural elements floor to ceiling with the hundreds of plants. But you will lose none of the magical vibes when the sun sets because all the candles and twinkle lights come to life.

Their style…

Joe and Alyce’s wedding can be described in three words: simple, classic, and joyous. Alyce and Joe really let Planterra set the intimate scene for their wedding day. They chose to keep the ceremony space simple by lining the aisle with lanterns. And the reception space classic with white linens, gold and white chairs, and almost neutral florals and candles. Their choices really allowed their guests to be fully submerged into the stunning space.

You can find fun little details woven into their wedding day details, such as, the beading at the bust of Alyce’s dress, the cocktail napkins showcasing their beloved furbabies, the wax seal on their elegant wedding invitation suite, and the seasonal florals added to the chairs for the ceremony. All small details that made a special and unique impact.

Their story…

Joe and Alyce have to be the easiest two people to spend time with. I think our time together for their engagement session alone hit 2 1/2 hours. It helped that Alyce’s brother and partner chaperoned their dogs for the session and made things even lighter and more fun. Joe was smitten from day one after thier first date and couldn’t wait to spend more time with Alyce. They both would tell you that each of them knew from the moment they met that their connection was special. And I can attest to both of them being completely smitten with one another. Their first look had us in tears but my favorite moment of their day was just after they signed their marriage license. Joe grabbed Alyce’s hand said ‘best day of my life.’
