A classic black tie fall Italian wedding at Andiamo in Warren, Michigan provided by Kari Dawson, top-rated Detroit Wedding photographer, and her team.

Every last detail of Max and Stephanie’s Italian Andiamo wedding was flawless. If you have been around for a while you know I love when dudes are in classic black tuxedos and bow ties. Add a patent leather shoe to complete their look, like Max and his men did, and chef’s kiss! Stephanie’s gown suited her perfectly with a sweetheart neckline, cap lace sleeve, and lots of layers on her ballgown. Her bridesmaids wore a modern full length champagne one shoulder dress that complimented each of their skin tones so well.

Their style…

Stephanie and Max were definetely the star of the show and I think the florals take a very close second. Every aspect from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the entire space in the ballroom was divine. The space at Andiamo is quite large but wrapped in midnight blue the ballroom felt incredibly intimate. The linens Stephanie chose anchored the space. The gold metal chairs added an extra dash of bling. The candles at each table along with the crystals on some of the incredible centerpieces added the perfect amount of sparkle. I loved the linens they chose for the dramatic head table making that area of the ballroom really pop while keeping it from competing with the sweetheart table behind it that was flanked with eight foot florals on pendants. Stephanie’s eye for style and the way she seamlessly pulled everything together from the invitation suite to the bridesmaid dresses to the reception space was perfect.

Max and Stephanie’s family, wedding party, and friends were all incredibly warm and welcoming making our day so much sweeter. There were a lot of happy tears which are always so bittersweet to watch unfold. The first time I photographed Stephanie she was a bridesmaid in her cousin Cristina’s wedding in 2018 and again for an extended family session. I think Stephanie has participated in or attended at least three total weddings before it was her turn to be the bride. It is an incredible honor to be trusted and invited back. And I honestly can’t articulate just how fun it is for me to see so many familiar faces in the same room after being part of so many special days for Stephanie and her family. Max and Stephanie had a large wedding party which speaks to the connection they carry with friends and the importance they hold for family. Together they beamed after the ceremony and they danced the night away together, never wandering too far from each other.
