Anthony and Idaly met in middle school. Idaly was Anthony’s eight grade girlfriend for about two class periods before she broke it off. The best part of their beginning is that it also includes many of the people who were in the room on their wedding day. Anthony and Idaly both have created genuine life long friendships making them all chosen family. Idaly and Anthony dated through high school and college. After nine years of dating they purchased their first home together and added their dog Ivy to the family. Christmas is Idaly’s very favorite time of year so Anthony used it to his advantage and popped the question at the Chicago Botanic Garden Holiday Light Show. Then planned their wedding day in December to embrace the Christmas season and was lucky enough to even have a dusting of snow!

A destination wedding…

So how does a couple from Illinois end up hosting their wedding day in Michigan? Not only are Anthony and Idaly both out of towners but every single person on their guest list is from out of town. That little detail alone speaks volumes about the kind of people Anthony and Idaly must be to have brought an entire wedding guest list in from out of town for their wedding day. If Idaly and Anthony love their friends and family even a fraction of the way they love each other they will continue to be a comforting source to those they love. Anthony looks at Idaly like he can’t believe she is his. Take a scroll through the photos; it is undeniable. And Idaly looks at Anthony with a universe full of devotion. She never stops smiling! Except when she is crying (happy tears of course).
