The Ranch
My inner-wedding-dreamer took flight when I pulled into the Lazy J Ranch this past Saturday and saw the lawn lined with rows of white chairs for an outdoor ceremony. The sun was shining and the gorgeous sky was full of puffy white clouds. The backdrop was the Lazy J Ranch which consists of white barns with black thick trim which just so happen to be my favorite. The ranch is nestled in a quiet area that was so welcoming yet so peaceful.
The Bride
Whitney’s veil blew in the light breeze and she and her girls made their way to the barn in their matching bride and bridesmaid tank tops. They had the most adorable flower girl in tow. I left the bridesmaids to dress in their gray floor length bridesmaid dresses that were all the same shade but just unique enough from each other to be different due to the bodices. As they ladies dressed, Whitney’s wedding dress floated gently in the breeze while hanging in a tree below. The lace on her gown is impeccable and the silhouette after Whitney stepped into it was perfect.
The Ceremony
In the dance barn Mitch and his groomsman were making final touches on their tuxedos and military uniforms. Complete with white gloves, formal hat and swords. These guys looks sharp! While neither Mitch or Whitney were too nervous before the ceremony, that didn’t stop the emotions from running high during the ceremony. These two waited a long time for their to finally arrive. Mitch and Whitney were engaged in June of 2015. They began to plan their wedding and had to accommodate for a year long deployment for Mitch. Now that Mitch is home safe and sound and their dream day had finally arrived the tears fell.
Mitch and Whitney, it has been the greatest joy to have been on this journey with the pair of you. Thank you to your family for their welcome hospitality and making us all feel so welcome. Your day couldn’t have been any more beautiful, romantic, or bursting with love, right down to the magical sunset. I adore you both! Happy honeymooning!!!
