The rain kept us indoors for the day of John + Shannon’s Ann Arbor wedding but the sanctuary of the old First Baptist Church isn’t the worst place to be limited to for indoor portraits. The old charm and character are so lovely and added a personal touch to their images. John and Shannon met within the walls of this church. John dedicates his time and talent as a care taker and both are parishioners. It was at the wedding of another parishioner that ignited their first conversation that led to many many more. It was the ease of their presence together combined with many common links and hobbies that continues to make their life together so simple. They celebrated their marriage in the simplest of ways at the church where they met with their closest friends, family and fellow parishioners. They celebrated later with an intimate meal at the Michigan League where they were able to casually mingle with those they love most. I am incredibly honored to have been invited into your wedding day, Shannon and John. It has been a pleasure hearing your story and getting to know you both. We might not always understand the path we’re lead down at times but in the end there is always a divine plan for your greater good. Remain fun-loving, selfless, kind and gentle. Hugs!
