I am loving this fall Arboretum Ann Arbor engagement! Dreamy light and outfits that include pink is my kind of session! Lyndsey + Robbie met through virtual friends their sophomore year at U of M. These are officially my first Michigan alumni! I have photographed lots and lots of Spartys. Moving on… The location of their ‘official’ first dance is murky but they both recall how easy and immediate it was to fall into dating. As a Sorority Sister and Fraternity Brother they soaked up every second of their college years together while also spending lots of time in the Library. They graduated with their Bachelors Degrees together but soon Lyndsey was off to Wisconsin to begin her career while Robbie stayed back to finish his Masters Degree. Robbie moved to Maryland and also lived in Tennessee for a short time. It was 2014 before Robbie move to Madison, Wisconsin. It takes a strong couple to stay together long distance and giving each other the space necessary to forge their paths before merging forever. That November, Robbie and Lyndsey bought a house together in Madison and headed right over after the closing. This was the first time they would see the house empty of the previous owners belongings but a table and bouquet of flowers remained. Robbie’s brother and parents along with Lyndsey’s parents looked on as Robbie got down on one knee and proposed.
Shooting their engagement session in Ann Arbor was an obvious choice so we met at the Arboretum. They held hands and carried a blanket while we wandered to the river’s edge and through the woods. The sun was magical and these two are total naturals! I am so excited for your 2016 wedding at the Valley at Furtig Farms in Ann Arbor!
