They spent the early days of their relationship fishing together in the neighborhood pond. Paul was a chivelrous from the beginning in words, action and dates that included unique activities as the atmosphere for them to get to know each other. Holly and Paul were married on a perfect spring day in the Ann Arbor area. Holly’s dress knocked me out! It was truly gorgeous and fit for the princess hanging from a hook in the ceiling that her dad installed just for her gorgeous dress. Holly was quite a sight as her mom and sister helped get her into her dress as all her maids gathered in the room to watch the final touches come together. Before we departed for the church Holly was presented with gifts for her from Paul. He didn’t disappoint! Holly first opened a fishing lure that read ‘you are the greatest catch of my life.’ Most of us were watery eyed already when Holly read aloud the poem that Paul wrote for their wedding day but everyone in the room, myself included, was in full on tears before she read the last word. The most touching part of the entire day was Holly’s strong desire to just BE with Paul. She shed tears and tried not to ruin her makeup as she repeated, ‘I just want him here.’ Holly and Paul, your day unfolded beautifully and ended with an incredible party! I hope you enjoyed your recent honeymoon and continue to pinch yourselves each time you realize you’re married!
