Anyone else madly missing the mild weather of summer and fall? Yeah, same. That’s okay, only six weeks left of this gray winter abyss here in Michigan. We got this.
In the meantime, let’s oooh and ahhhh over Bella and Jacob’s fall engagement photos in Michigan at Stony Creek. This open field is one of my very favorite locations all year long. But on the sunny days… when the light begins to dip for sunset is the very best. You know what makes engagement sessions even better? Your dog. If you are new here, your pups are always welcome. I’ll even hold them while we continue to work together for those shots you want without your fur baby. Olive is the just the sweetest and stole the show.
How they met…
Bella is not only connected to one of my lovely prior KDP brides but she also used to go to school with two of my girls. Crazy small world right? These two love birds met while away at school and began dating their sophomore year. Like many couples, they dated long distance for a few years while they each finalized their educations. They lived together for two summers before finally making the move permanent and getting engaged.
We had the best time frolicking in the open field and setting sun while getting to each other. The fall color is perfection. They spend hours together boating in the Michigan summer and I am sure they are as ambitious for the passing of winter as the rest of us are. Their 2024 Colony Club wedding might feel like a million days away but time flies. Before long we’ll be in the final countdown. I can’t wait to see your wedding day vision and dreams come to life. And, I am so thrilled to be on this journey with you both, Bella and Jacob. Thank you for trusting me with your memories!
