I met Kristina and Jason for their Independence Oaks engagement photos recently and wow did mother nature show up with the sunset. The air was still mild creating a truly cozy and romantic evening. We had a great time hiking toward the water and back, despite Kristina being in a fabulous pair of heels. Even in heels, the trails were no match for Kristina who enjoys walking the paths of the county park often. She shared one of her favorite spots with me along with her joy in taking sunset photos herself on the evenings she gets to enjoy the area. We enjoyed chatting about everything from their favorite food and restaurants, favorite pastimes, and of course a little wedding planning. These two are true naturals. I’m so excited to meet their little guy and the rest of their families next year!
Can’t wait for the big day in July at Meadow Brook Hall! Enjoy a peek at some of my favorite memories of their engagement session.

You will feel calm on one of the most overwhelming days of your life. You will forget the camera was there. You will find yourself holding photographs of moments you were not fully aware were happening when they did.
You will feel like they belong there. Not as vendors. As people who already understood what the day meant before they ever walked through the door.
share a cherished story from your time together. Could be how you met, a travel story, a date night, or anything else that comes to mind.
