I’m obsessed with the sage, emerald, and navy wedding color palette from Rachel and Kyle’s II Gather Event Venue wedding. I’m equally in love with their gorgeous cake, the unstructured florals, and the decor of their reception was so romantic. I’m just going to also keep telling you how much I LOVE a mix and match set of bridesmaid dresses! Not only did Rachel and her girls change up the style of each dress but the colors, too. They look so lovely as individuals and collectively.
I don’t know if I can begin to describe the way these two feel about each other. You can see it and feel it in every single glance they share. There were countless moments Rachel would place her hands on either side of Kyle’s face and gently pull him in for a kiss. They were separated for a short time at the reception. When Kyle circled back to Rachel on the dance floor, she lit up like she hadn’t seen him for months. And moments before we were packing up for the evening we found them taking a moment together outside as Rachel was cuddled up in Kyle’s arms. They literally can’t stand to be separated.
I was looking forward to this wedding all season because I adore Rachel and Kyle and I was so excited to spend another fabulous day celebrating with the Petruska family after working with them last year for Bob and Sarah’s wedding. I don’t meet too many families with the same makeup as my own; having four girls and a son. I knew that Kyle’s family was going to be incredible also. Their day was perfect and full of joy. I am so honored to have been part of it, Rachel and Kyle. I wish you both all the happiness in the world! Happy honeymooning!!

Karli has been Kari’s creative partner for five years. Before every wedding, we visualize you as a couple, your venue, and your day, so we walk in prepared for a calm, intentional experience.
Kari is the creative director, and since she’s only human and can’t be everywhere at once, Karli closes the gaps. She shoots alongside Kari, keeps the day on schedule, carries your bouquet, fixes your veil, and is a real-life cheering squad.
That’s not even the best part. She’s also Kari’s daughter, which means we communicate without words. She anticipates what Kari needs before she asks, and together we’ve built a wedding-day rhythm you'll notice.
